Skip the control cabinet

Standard IP55 and IP66 enclosures allow installation without a cabinet in dirty environments or in locations that experience jet spray washdown such as food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Fieldbus Flexibility

Add functionality to your Fieldbus system without the need for advanced engineering or C++ and C# programming. GE’s PACMotion VFD modules come with preconfigured modes that can dramatically startup time and substantially reduce controller load. Simply enter your parameters and go.

Simple Motor Startup

A standard inverter route substantially reduces startup time on gantries, cranes, hoists, conveyors, turntables, and storage retrieval systems. Freewheeling functionality protects against reverse feeding and eliminates the need for braking resistors.

Get up and running faster with a flexible design that offers power ranges from 0.25 to 250kW as well as a host of communications protocols. Options such as a braking resistor, line chokes, line filters, output chokes, and output filters let you quickly customize the PACMotion VFD to your requirements.

Rugged Design for
Demanding Applications

The PACMotion VFD is built to perform in harsh environments. Standard conformally coated circuit boards can withstand demanding conditions, providing a high overload capacity rated up to 125% I in continuous duty and 150% I for short durations. Allowing for temperatures up to 60°C and optional enclosures, the PACMotion VFD can meet your toughest challenges.



Compact, Modular Design

The compact footprint of PACMotion VFD and its available IP55 and IP66 housings maximize space by alowing the unit to be housed closer to the machine, outside of the control cabinet. The built-in keypad and display allow operators to validate parameters providing instant feedback during troubleshooting.

Connect and Optimize

Modular design lets individual units be connected and controlled with a single keypad.  In addition to benefiting from PROFINET redundancy, connecting the PACMotion VFD with other GE products lets you monitor, record, and optimize output in real time. Adding Field Agent technology allows you to send data via a secure connection to the Industrial Internet.
