The convection- or conduction-cooled CR4 Intel® Pentium® M processor-based SBC packs high-performance computing power in a small 3U package making it a tailored fit for many military applications. The CR4 gives engineers abundant I/O to work with by providing two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two 32-bit 33/66 MHz PCI bus interfaces, an RS-232 and an RS-422/485 serial I/O ports and ten general-purpose I/O lines to the backplane with separate interrupts and interrupt masking capability. This SBC also incorporates the Intel 855GME chipset, which includes the Intel 855GME Graphics Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) and Intel 6300ESB I/O Controller Hub (ICH).
