(NASDAQ: SBSE) today announced that it will be presenting with other leading small-cap, technology companies at the American Electronics Association Financial Growth Summit in Monterey, CA, May 16-18, 1999. This Financial Growth Summit is an extension of the AEA Classic Conference held in November in San Diego and is designed to give smaller technology companies individualized exposure to Wall Street analysts and money managers seeking small-cap opportunities. The Dynamic 100 is an annual listing of what Forbes believes to be the most dynamic, publicly traded, U.S. technology companies. Forbes ASAP interviewed analysts, money managers, and venture capitalists, asking them to rate more than 300 companies on the six factors believed to define ìdynamismî in a technology company today: overall responsiveness to change, market opportunity, marketing expertise, human capital, alliances and partnerships, and prospects for growth. "We are proud to be recognized within this distinguished group of companies," said Christopher J. Amenson, Chairman and CEO of SBS Technologies. "We embarked several years ago on an aggressive plan for growth and we continue to invest in that plan. The combination of our investments in new product R&D and the acquisitions we have completed thus far have significantly expanded our capabilities and allowed us to broaden the customer base we serve to include the telecommunications, medical, industrial automation and control and defense industries. I am extremely pleased for our employees that SBS is recognized by Forbes as being among the most dynamic American technology companies, because our progress is the result of their continuing efforts," Amenson continued.
