SBS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSE), a leader in high-performance OEM telecommunications platforms and wide area networking (WAN) subsystems, today introduced the versatile and fully enhanced 520 family of WAN interfaces. The 520 Line of WAN interfaces introduces unsurpassed scalability, allowing OEM customers to seamlessly scale from T1/E1 to HSSI and DS3.

The unique architecture of the 520 Line offers flexibility, efficiency and modularity with an interchangeable family of physical interface modules. Featuring density, scalability, and low latency, the 520 family features a Quad Multi-protocol controller that supports four full duplex ports at 4 Mbps each and options for dual HSSI or a single DS3 channel.

SBS' modular Driver Development Kit (DDK) software architecture also enables OEMs to take advantage of seamless driver portability across the entire 520 product family.
