SBS Technologies and MontaVista Announce Strategic Partnership
Hard Hat Linux Optimized for Industry-Standard Solutions Including CompactPCI, VME and Embedded PCs
Today MontaVista Software, Inc., developer of the Hard HatTM Linux® operating system for embedded applications, and SBS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBSE), a leading manufacturer of standard bus-embedded computer components, announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the delivery of optimized solutions for embedded Linux applications.

SBS will be one of several members of MontaVista&8217;s MVP program that assures customers of high-quality application solutions based on the tight coupling of hardware systems with the Hard Hat Linux OS. The MVP-certified systems will combine the synergistic support from MontaVista&8217;s with SBS&8217; engineering design capability and quality product development and manufacturing process.
