The Texas A&M Turbomachinery Laboratory will host the 2013 Middle East Turbomachinery Symposium in Doha.
This Symposium will feature lectures, tutorials, case studies, discussion groups, and short courses similar in quality to those of the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia held annually in Houston. Additionally, the Symposium Exhibit Hall will feature industry-leading companies with exhibits of the latest services and full-sized equipment. METS seeks to promote professional development, technology transfer, international peer networking, and information exchange among industry professionals.
Join Faris Al Batish and Nada Wehbe in the GE booth, #301. They’ll be talking about Proficy Historian—a powerful, enterprise-wide data historian that collects, archives, and distributes tremendous volumes of real-time production information at extremely high speeds. They’ll also demo the Proficy SmartSignal software and discuss how it works with GE’s Bently Nevada to provide both early warning of equipment problems and deep diagnostics. The SmartSignal software provides precursor foresight with very early detection, while the Bently Nevada System 1 solution delivers dynamic insight to diagnose and define the causes of behavior change.
