Cloud and the rise of the industrial Internet

Cloud computing has quickly become a necessity among enterprises, startups, and the technology industry at large. However, despite cloud computing becoming increasingly mainstream, its focus has largely remained in the realm of storage, hosting, collaboration tools and the like.

White collar enterprises have adopted it wholeheartedly, startups are disrupting the space, and consumers have flocked to the cloud in more ways than they likely realise – all enabled by the industrial Internet. The industrial Internet will harness the future of cloud computing – from industrial big data management to mobility and true workforce enablement in this age of digital natives who work in a more collaborative way.

Steve Pavlosky will speak on how high performance automation platforms for a connected world enable the industrial Internet to lead the evolution of cloud computing beyond the board room into relatively unchartered territory like factory floors, field service environments, and industrial settings crucial to a global economy
