To avoid disrupting existing production, start small by connecting with one machine—versus the entire plant. As Rich Carpenter explains, you can understand the utilization of your equipment over time, and once you gain confidence in the value from one or two machines, then move to the next machine, then subsequently the whole area, the entire plant, and the next plant.
